Mudikondan Sri.C.Venkatarama Iyer -1897 to 1975. He was a stalwart among top-ranking musician holding various Awards. He was a Great Laya, Lakshya-Lakshna vidwan. Mudikondan’s specialities were Ragam Thanam Pallavi recitals. He passed on the legacy to his primary disciples R. Vedavalli and B.Krishnamurti. His Simmanandhana Thala Pallavi needs a special mention. He was well versed in many S.Indian languages, Sanskrit,Grantham,English etc.
